Back from Hawaii

My dad and I arrived safely at LAX yesterday. The plane ride was fine and my dad did very well. I made sure he got up several times during the flight to get his legs circulating.

I went to Waikiki Beach on Tuesday evening and took some pictures before and after sunset. It was gorgeous.

Then we went to dinner at an Italian place called Longhi's at the Ala Moana Shopping Center which was recommended to me by a street musician in Waikiki. The food was good as well as the atmosphere. I bought one of their cookbooks to take home. It had recipes for Chicken Piccata and Chicken Marsala, two dishes I really enjoy.
