Angels Game with Dad

Saturday, 28 Aug 2004 | Family, Sports

On Tuesday evening, Toni, Erin and I treated my dad to an evening at Angel Stadium of Anaheim for an Anaheim Angels game. The Angels are our favorite Major League Baseball team. My dad is always excited to attend one of their games.

We played against the Kansas City Royals and won the game 7 to 5, so we were all jazzed about that. We had a great time. I drove straight from work to meet them and take one car to the game. I commuted a total of 4 hours and 45 minutes that day for work and the game. I was tired the next day, but it was worth it.

The following night, the last game of the three game series against Kansas City, the Angel won with an astounding score of 21 to 6. What is this? Football? That night, Jeff DaVanon became the fourth Angel in history to hit for the cycle.

The official MLB site has a list of common baseball terms and definitions.
