Apple Introduces the iMac G5

Apple computer has introduced the all-new iMac G5. It's a totally redesigned iMac that diverges from the Luxo lamp style of its predecessor. The entire computer including stereo speakers is housed in the monitor assembly. It has a sleek iPod style and the monitor pivots up and down.

Personally, I like the versatily of the former iMac with its swivel capability and small footprint. I find my iMac G4 more attractive, but the new unit does boast a faster G5 processor for about the same price. As with all things, there always seems to be a trade-off.
