Jan's Last Day

My good friend Jan's last day is tomorrow. She is retiring from the city and is moving up to Big Bear. We have worked together for over 5 years now, so I'll be missing her very much. I affectionately named her "Queen of HR" because she worked for Human Resources.

Today, Dennis organized a surprise luncheon for Jan at The Great Wall Chinese Restaurant. A group of her close friends were there to say an early goodbye. Jan was a little broken up when she arrived, but gained her composure very quickly. I think she enjoyed it overall. Tomorrow we will be visiting her office to have brownies and say our final farewells.

Jan, I wish you all the best in the exciting days to come in beautiful Big Bear! ;)
