Nikon Unveils AF-S 300mm f/2.8G VR

Today, Nikon unveiled their new AF-S VR Nikkor 300mm f/2.8G IF-ED lens. This is a redesigned 300mm incorporating their vibration reduction technology for more stable handheld shots and their new Nano-Crystal AR (anti-reflective) coating that virtually eliminates ghost and flare in bright shooting conditions. It's expected to ship in January 2005.
