Dad Pre-Registers for Surgery

I talked to my dad this evening. He told me that he's going to Corona Regional Medical Center tomorrow to pre-register for his prostate cryosurgery on November 8th. It should be pretty routine stuff; paperwork and a blood test.

Cancer cryosurgery seems to be a minimally invasive treatment for cancer compared to the other methods available. The procedure requires an overnight hospital stay and about a week or two recovery at home. Nonetheless, it's still surgery and can have side effects and complications. We're confident and hoping for a great outcome for my dad.
