Fruit at Granville Island's Public Market
We spent an afternoon browsing Granville Island on our summer trip to Vancouver, Canada. Their Public Market has a host of fresh produce, meats, cheeses, coffee and whatever other scrumptious food products you can imagine. The fruit was so perfect and arranged into beautiful formations.
Toni thought their Snapple Peach Tea was milder and better tasting in Vancouver than it is here in California. I tasted it and concurred. She said she liked the peche (French for peach) better.
One interesting note: We witnessed many giant seagulls at Granville Island. I saw one particularly fiesty seagull dive into the back of a woman's head like a crazed Kamikaze to distract and then steal a mouthful of Chinese food from her plate. Needless to say, we ate indoors.
