Curse? What Curse?

Well, I guess New York Yankees fans are quite disappointed to know that they can't use the Bambino Curse heckle against the 2004 World Champion Boston Red Sox anymore. I'm glad to see that Boston was able to finally win a World Series after 86 agonizing years of trying. I really do think they deserve the win despite them eliminating the Anaheim Angels this year. It was amazing to see them come from a 0-3 deficit to beat the Yankees and then sweep the Cardinal in four straight wins.

I must say that I do feel bad for the St. Louis Cardinals fans. I can't remember when fans looked so sad and dejected.

Well, we're THRILLED too! What I think was phenomenal about this year's match up between the Yankees and the Red Sox is that it drew in people who normally don't watch or enjoy Major League Baseball. It was so exciting because of the legend of the curse, the heated rivalry between ball clubs and the fact that the Cubs were such an underdog and hadn't won the World Series since 1918. It was truly HISTORIC sports!
