Easy Jury Duty for Toni

Thursday, 4 Nov 2004 | Family

I checked with the Superior Court of Riverside County web site today to find out when Toni needs to report for jury duty. She was scheduled to go on Monday, but each day until today it said that her reporting date had been rescheduled and to check back the following day for reporting instructions. Well, today it said that she didn't need to report at all and her jury duty service was fulfilled for one year. That's cool. I've never had that happen to me. Generally we need to go in one day. If you don't get selected for a jury panel, your service is fulfilled.

Toni lucked out on that one! :) I wonder why, in all these years, that never have I once been called for jury duty??? People ask me if I vote. Yes, I vote. I vote in every election. So, why do I never get picked for jury duty?? Not that I am complaining!!!!! I just wonder why. Do you know how they pick you?? Luck of the draw or what? Watch me get a letter soon, saying I have been called to jury duty :/ lol

I don't know about Washington, but in California jurors are selected by DMV Drivers License and Voter Registration records.
