Gone Too Soon

Camarae, my niece Deidre's best friend lost her battle with Leukemia yesterday at the age of 16. Camie had struggled with her cancer since 2002, enjoying a brief remission, but then becoming sick again. I didn't have a chance to meet Camarai, but Toni was blessed to meet her during a beach trip in the summer. Toni said that Camarae was such a sweet, lovable girl. It's so sad to lose such a young and spirited person. My prayers go out to Camarae's family and Deidre. I'm sure many will miss her presence immensely.

I'm sorry to hear about the loss of another wonderful person to the struggle against cancer. I know many people who have lost loved ones to cancer.
