Seventy-Five Mickeys at Disneyland

Seventy-five Mickey Statues arrived at Disney's California Adventure on January 10th as a part of the 75 InspEARations Statue Tour. The statues are to commemorate Mickey Mouse's 75th birthday. The seventy-five 700 pound, six-foot-tall statues were designed by a number of notables including Raven, Elton John, John Travolta, Ellen DeGeneres, Tony Hawk, Tom Hanks, Ben Affleck, Jamie Lee Curtis and Annette Funicello and famous artists Gary Baseman and Wyland.
The statues will be on display through February 22nd at the Disneyland Resort. Then they will journey to Washington D.C. and New York where they will be auctioned by Sotheby's with the proceeds going to each artist's designated charity.
