Apple Debuts Mac mini & iPod shuffle
Wednesday, 12 Jan 2005 | Macintosh
Apple Computer added two new products to their line. An inexpensive Mac and and iPod. I've been a long time Mac user and enthusiast, so I'm pleased with these new offerings.
The Mac mini is a $499 Mac that comes in a very small form factor, designed to be hooked up to an Apple keyboard, mouse and monitor or your existing Windows USB keyboard and mouse and VGA display. Apple hopes to convert some PC users to the Mac in light of the overwhelming success of the iPod with Mac and PC users alike.
The iPod shuffle is an entry level iPod with no display priced at $99. It comes in 512MB and 1GB models.
