Muffin's Condition

We just talked to the vet and they said the blood work indicates Muffin has kidney and liver failure. They give her 24 to 36 hours before she succumbs to it. This morning she didn't come up to greet me. Toni had given her some anti-nausea medication while I showered. I checked on Muffin before I left for work this morning. She seemed quite tired and listless as I held her in my arms.

Oh, I'm so very sorry, Mike. We lost a dear cat on New Year's Day.. I wrote an entry in my blog about him. I feel your pain. My thoughts and sympathies go out to you and your family.. no matter how many pets you have, it never gets easier.

Brad, I read your blog entry about Toby and Alex. He was apparently a very loved family member. I too am so sorry for your loss. Thank you for your sympathy and kind words. It is so appreciated especially since you understand the pain of losing a cherished pet and therefore have some idea of what we are going through.

:-( I'm sorry to read about Muffin. After I read you post, I had to go find my Vivi (he's also 10) and hold him for as long as he could stand. I don't know what I would do if I lost him.
