No Disney at Super Bowl XXXIX

At Super Bowl XXXIX on Sunday, February 6th, 2005 in Jacksonville, Florida no players from the New England Patriots nor the Philadelphia Eagles will be saying "I'm going to Disneyland" after the game. Disney has decided to not advertise with that famous slogan for the first time since 1987 at a Super Bowl game.

Disney officials site their campaign for Happiest Celebration on Earth promoting the 50th anniversary of Disneyland, which begins on May 5, and a Magic Your Way plan offering more flexible prices and vacation plans for consumers as the reason for the decision.
