Disneyland Closed on May 4th

According to the Official Disneyland website, Disneyland will be closed on May 4th, 2005 in order to perform last minutes touches for its 50th Anniversary Celebration.

Starting May 5, 2005, the Disneyland® Resort will mark the once-in-a-lifetime milestone of Disneyland® park's 50th Anniversary, a golden celebration so big it is taking place at Disney theme parks around the world. In final preparation for this unprecedented event, Disneyland® park will be closed to the public on Wednesday, May 4, 2005. Disney's California Adventure™ park will remain open. Applicable Annual Passport blockout dates will apply.
