Know What I Mean?

I have developed an annoying (to me) habit of saying, "Know what I mean?" after almost everything I say. Know what I mean?

I do this especially around Toni. I think it started as a way to confirm that she understood what I was trying to convey. You know, to improve communication, which is a good thing in a marriage. But now, I seem to say it all the time. The most disconcerting thing is I don't even intend to say it most of the time, but it just comes out anyway.

So, I warn you. Please don't start saying this phrase after you explain something or you just might get stuck uttering it uncontrollably as I do! LOL
