Remembering Mom
Wednesday, 22 Jun 2005 | Family
It's been over a year since my mom passed away and I still miss her very much. I'm sure I always will.
I recently scanned a couple of pictures of her. The first one is of her and me in Seoul, Korea. I would say it was taken around 1965 or 1966.
The second one is of my mom in 1962, before I was born. It was taken in Seoul also, at my grandmother's house. She's wearing a canary yellow dress my dad picked out and sent to her from JC Penney. He was back in the United States. My mom had not moved here yet.

I miss your mom very much too. She is always in my thoughts. It's funny, everytime I have a plate of Spaghetti, I always think to myself that your mom's spaghetti was always better. I really miss her cooking, and how you use to drive John and me nuts with those recipe cards before we had dinner!

Matt, thank you for your comments about my mom. It really means a lot to me that you remember her so fondly.
Thank you, Hieu. I agree she was lovely.
Kathya, I can't help it if I was so cute. LOL
Lori, thank you so much for your anniversary best wishes. We had a very nice dinner at Red Lobster with Erin on that evening. Toni had the King Crab Legs and I had the Lobster Tail. They were both delicious. We're looking forward to our trip to Apple Farm in San Luis Obispo this weekend to really celebrate our anniversary.
