Toni, my dad, Will and I went to the last Angels home game of the season today. We were fortunate to be a part of setting an Angels season attendance record. It was fan appreciation day and they gave out prizes but unfortunately we didn't win any of them.

The bad news is we lost 4-8 to the Tampa Bay Devil Rays.

The good news is that the second place Oakland Athletics lost as well to the Texas Rangers 2-6. Therefore our first place division lead remains 4 games as we head to Oakland tomorrow for a four game series against the A's. With seven season games left, if we split the series 2-2, we will have clinched the American League West Division title. If we win 3 out of the 7 games left, the A's would have to win all their remaining games just to tie the Angels. It sounds very promising we will advance to the American League Division Series.

Go Angels! :D

Today, I bought a Vladimir Guerrero authentic home jersey for myself since everything at the team store was 25% off for fan appreciation day. I've been wanting a jersey for a long time and Toni was nice enough to let me get one. I'm hoping that I will get to wear it to a playoff game in the near future.
