Lost in Music

In last week's episode of ABC's hit show, Lost, they featured a song I hadn't heard in a long time. Ever since I heard them play it, I've had it running through my head. In fact, I forgot how much I liked it. The song is Make Your Own Kind of Music by Mama Cass Elliot from The Mamas & The Papas fame. I'm going to have to buy it soon to add to my CD collection.

It was nostalgic to see music played from an LP record on a turntable. It was also very nostalgic to see an Apple II computer. My first computer was a 128 KB Apple IIe with a green monochrome monitor, an extended 80-column card and two single sided floppy drives. I thought I was pretty cool stuff back then to have floppy disk drives and not a cassette tape drive. LOL

A bit of trivia about Lost: Parts of the show were filmed on Oahu's North Shore in Hawaii. They dissasembled a jet aircraft and shipped it to Hawaii for the show.
