Mushrooms for Rita

Today I made some of my Sauteed Mushrooms with Brandy Cream Sauce for Aunt Rita and her family. I was so pleased that everyone liked them. When I arrived at Aunt Rita's house, her son Mauro greeted me and immediately ripped the foil off of the food we brought. He heated up a bowl of chicken pasta and my mushrooms. He thought it was very good. Then he offered a bite to his wife, Olga. She said, this is my bowl now and didn't give it back.

Everyone thanked me many times for cooking, which pleased me very much. On the way home, Toni told me something that made me smile. She said that my cooking makes people happy. I thought that was a wonderful compliment.
