Woodcrest Christian was not in the top eight teams at the California State Mock Trial competition this weekend. I was very disappointed for Erin, even more than she was herself. I am still so proud of Erin and her team members. I feel so close to each and every one of the mock trial participants because I attended so many of the trials. It was a great experience seeing these kids work so hard. I can't imagine performing so well under pressure in front of an audience when I was a teenager. Their professionalism and confidence impressed me immensely. Erin intends to participate again next year playing the part of an attorney.
