Beautiful Madelyn

My cousin Matthew and his wife Melinda were blessed yesterday with a beautiful addition to their family. Madelyn is their first daughter. They already had a boy, Mason, who is very cute, so I'm sure she will be adorable. I was impressed with how nice Madelyn's skin was for being only a day old. It's common for newborns to have a rash or blotchiness on their little faces.

Melinda was already up and around today. It's amazing how quickly she bounces back from childbirth. I'm so happy to hear mom and baby are healthy and well.

Madelyn was born on July 21st, 2006 at 5:14 PM, weighed in at 6 lbs., 6 oz., measured 18 1/2" in length and her head was 32'' in circumference. She was born in Newport Beach, California at Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian.

She is absolutely gorgeous. Congratulations to your cousin & his wife. Their baby girl was born on Guam's Liberation Day! :)
