Michael Fletcher discovered a great website and wants you to be a part of it. The Desert Sun is looking for the best photos of the Coachella Valley to be put in a full-color, hard-bound, coffee-table book. Michael submitted this photo and would really appreciate you looking at it and voting for it. You can also see all of Michael's photos if you'd like. Everyone who submits a photo is eligible for some great prizes, and a discount on the book. The photos that get the most votes will be published in the book alongside the best photos from The Desert Sun, so the book is truly the best of the Coachella Valley. Registration, voting, and submission are all free, so join Michael and help shape the Capture My Desert Project today!
Thank you! I really appreciate your support!

I turned in my application for a passport on Tuesday at the Palm Springs Public Library. This will be my first passport, so I'm very excited about getting it. I lived in Italy and South Korea when I was growing up, but my passport was connected with my parents. They said I should expect to get my passport in the mail in 4 to 6 weeks, but I'm hopeful I'll get it earlier. Toni is getting her first passport soon as well.

Toni and I attended Erin's baptism at Corona del Mar on August 24th. She was baptized on the beach at sunset. It was a gorgeous evening and a wonderful event. After the baptism, Erin and her friends Alicia and Tara went to The Pizza Bakery in Newport Beach for dinner. We all had a great time and shared a huge and delicious pizza. They were out of the bread knots and Toni was disappointed, but we'll go back to try them another time for sure.<< August 2007 | Main | October 2007 >>
