Disneyland's Monorail Red Debuts Friday
Wednesday, 23 Apr 2008 | Disneyland
I have been enamored with Disneyland's monorail for as long as I can remember. I've always admired the sleek, modern styling. Interestingly, I don't have a good picture of the monorail.
Since the new Mark VII Monorail Red is beginning service to guests at Disneyland on Friday, I am determined to get a photo of the newest design. It has an even sleeker style, sunlight activated color changing glass and seats which face the windows, offering better views of the Happiest Place on Earth.

Interesting,
Do you ever make it to Disney World in Orlando? Also, do they have plans there for the same Monorail??

I've only been to Walt Disney World once when I was a teenager. That was before most of the current attractions were created. There was no Epcot or Animal Kingdom back then. I look forward to getting back there to show my wife since she's never been. :)

Between you and I Mike... if I can make it through this flickr 365 project I'm doing with my daughter I'm going to step up and treat myself to the D3 and pass down my D80 to my daughter!
Disney World is a great place to take pictures - EPCOT is my favorite place on earth I think.
Hope you make it there soon!!
Cheers,
Jim
