I Love Big Atomic Clocks

Tuesday, 20 May 2008 | Daily, Electronics

I bought a digital wall clock this evening at Costco. It's one of those digital clocks that synchronizes with the U.S. atomic clock, so it's accurate to within a second at all times. The idea of a clock that is spot on accurate thrills me in a geeky way. Add to that the fact I don't have to Spring it forward or Fall it back and I'm one happy and content puppy. :)

Oh, and this one has readings for month, day day of week, ambient temperature AND time. I think it's telling of my age, but I what I love the most are the HUMONGOUS 3.75 inch numbers for the time readout. It's the large print version of wall clocks. ;)

I know! It's wonderful to have accurate time. I have so many clocks, so I need all the help I can get when it comes to switching to/from Daylight Saving Time. ;)
