Shot by Ex-Councilmember

I was innoculated by ex-councilmember Jeanne Reller-Brownstein today. Jeanne, a Registered Nurse, comes by Palm Springs City Hall about this time each year to administer flu shots to City employees. I have to say she has a gentle touch; I could hardly feel the needle go in and only felt a slight tingle as the vaccine entered my arm.

Many people swear they get the flu when they get a flu shot. Medical experts say that's not possible. I haven't experienced flu symptoms after a flu shot. I'm not sure who is right, but I suspect the symptoms are coincidental.
