Taken looking down at the trees at Capilano Suspension Bridge in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. I was taken with how the leaves all orient themselves parallel to the ground to make them the most receptive to the sun's light above.

Snowy Fence

This morning we were awakened by Taffy just before 7 am. Toni went downstairs to let her out and started yelling, "Oh, my gosh, it's snowing!" I went down to see what was going on and found there was layer of snow on the ground and snow was still falling. This is quite an event for us in Southern California. This is a photograph of snow on our fence to document the occasion. You can see a flake of snow falling in the center of the image if you click on the photo to view the larger version.
