Glenn's Hat

My friend's hat sitting on the dashboard of his car. I liked this one both in black & white and color, so I decided to show it both ways. It's in black & white initially until you move your cursor over the picture, then it's in color. Which version do you prefer?

In color, it reminds me of an Eddie Bauer or JCrew Ad.

In black and white, it reminds me of afternoons at the Krispie Kreme in Mobile, Alabama.

I like them both!

I have to say, one of the best things about your pictures is the way the colors give the picture a warm and vibrant feel. When you do use black and white, the grays contrast each other well, and is able to outline the focus of the picture, but not too strongly. I would say that in black-and-white, it's not your best monochrome picture. I'm able to see what inspired you to take the photo of the hat when it's in color.
