Hummingbird

This little guy was on my front sidewalk when I came home from work today. He let me lie down next to his tiny body to take this photograph and then flew away. He couldn't have been more than an inch or two in length. I suspect he was disoriented. Hopefully he will recover and remain healthy.

Thanks, Vangirl. I was amazed that he let me get so close too. It was a neat experience for sure. I feel so fortunate for the opportunity to photograph this beautiful bird.
